That 70's Show Starring Mike Pingel
I was born in the 70's and have a fascination with all things related. That is why I enjoy the work of Mike Pingel so much. Mike spends his days with Jill Monroe, Diana Prince, Lucy Ewing and Cindy Brady. I first got to know a bit about Mike Pingel when I saw the extras on the first season of Charlie's Angels on DVD. That led me to Mike's site which was devoted to all things Angel. Mike is without a doubt the most devoted fan of the show and has an extensive collection of memorabilia which he showcases on his site.
Over the last couple of years Mike has branched out spotlighting attention on other women from the 70's. Besides his his book 'The Q Guide to Charlie’s Angels' he has also written 'The Q Guide to Wonder Woman' and as well runs a site for his friend Charlene Tilton who played Lucy on 'Dallas'.
Pingel's latest book, 'The Brady Bunch: Super Groovy after All These Years'
is a behind the scenes look at the show full of trivia, episode guides as well as an extensive history of the series which hit the airwaves over 40 years ago. What makes Pingel's books so fun is that they are written for fans by a fan. Pingel interviewed many people connected to the show including creator Sherwood Schwartz, actors Susan Olsen(Cindy) and Anne B Davis (Alice). Particularly interesting was Robbie Rist whom some may remember as cousin Oliver (jump the shark moment...?).
